Early Life
Megan is the younger sister of James Hinchcliffe, in which the two have a considerate brother/sister relationship.
Formula 1 Career
After racing whatever she could get her hands on for all of her life, Megan made her professional racing debut in the first race of the 2012 Formula 1 season where in the first three races in Australia, Malaysia and China, Megan grabbed the pole for all three races and won at Australia and Malaysia and got a second at China. Megan got the pole for the Bahrian Grand Prix and went on to win the race. At the Spanish Grand Prix, Megan grabbed the pole and went on to win the race. Megan started in the sixth position for the Monaco Grand Prix and went on to finish third. She started third in the Canadian Grand Prix and went on to win while holding off Lewis Hamilton on the final lap. Qualified eleventh and went on to win the European Grand Prix the following week after the Canadian Grand Prix. Qualified on the pole for the British Grand Prix and finished second in the race behind Mark Webber. Megan grabbed the pole for the German Grand Prix where she went on to win the race.
