Early Life

Isabella is the younger sister of Jeff Gordon and Kim Gordon. Isabella had gotten her interest in racing from Jeff. She was born in Vallejo, California but grew up in Pittsboro, Indiana.

NASCAR Truck Series Career

Isabella had her 'big break' in racing in 2010, where she signed a contract with Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) to race a full schedule in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS). At the first race in Daytona, she got accidentally turned around by Matt Crafton on lap 50. Isabella was sixteen laps down and finished in the 21st position.

Isabella's first win came at the 'Kroger 200' Martinsville race as she passed Kevin Harvick in the final few laps and held him off until the checkered flag waved.

Isabella didn't get her second win until the AAA 200 at O'Reilly Raceway Park where she held off the charging Ron Hornaday.

In the 2011 season, Isabella only has one win of the season so far, which was at the Smith's 350 race at Las Vegas. She has also re-signed a contract with Kyle Busch Motorsports to race in the Truck Series in 2012. Isabella had finished fourth in the final championship points standings.

For the Truck Daytona qualifying, Isabella qualified on the pole for the event, where she would be along side Skye Edwards. Close to the end of the race, Isabella spun out and hit the inside wall off of Turn 4 hard, similar to how Danica Patrick wrecked at the end of the first Gatorade Duel race. Isabelle had climbed out of the truck under her own power, but was holding onto her right wrist, signalling that something went wrong in her wrist when she hit the wall. After coming out of the infield care centre, Isabella said that she had suffered from a fractured wrist from the crash, but other than that, she was alright. Isabella finished in the thirtith position, twenty six laps down. Still sporting a cast on her left wrist due to the Daytona crash, Isabella qualified for the Kroger 200 in the second position. After the race, Isabella finished second. For the Good Sam Roadside Assistance 200 race at Rockingham Speedway, Isabella qualified thirteenth. After the race, Isabella finished seventeenth.

Qualifying for the SFP 250, Isabella qualified eighth. After the race, Isabella finished fourth. Isabella qualified twelfth and finished fourteenth.
