Early Life
Destiny is the only child of Rose Audette, a crew chief in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and former crew chief in the Sprint Cup Series and Thomas Audette, a former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver and current Sprint Cup Series team owner 'Audette Racing'. Destiny has gotten her love of racing from both of her parents.
Life
Because of her family's involvement in NASCAR, Destiny was instantly thrown into the NASCAR world from the moment she was born. The first time that Destiny had stepped foot at a NASCAR track was at the Watkins Glen Roadcourse in 1992 when she was five years old as she had learned how a stock car operates from her father. Destiny had also sat ontop of the pitbox with her mother in the Nationwide Race at the roadcourse, and also sat ontop of her father's pitbox when he'd had raced at the roadcourse, which he'd won.
The only time that Destiny wasn't present at a race track was when she was at school, which she'd ended up graduating higschool with a 85% average. Also whenever Destiny wasn't at a NASCAR race track, she would be racing at tracks around New York and the surrounding states
NASCAR Career
The first time that Destiny had stepped foot inside a NASCAR racecar was at the 2011 Aaron's 312 Nationwide Race at Talladega Superspeedway, where she'd finished eighteenth. Destiny ended up making six more starts in the Nationwide Series, at Darlington, Charlotte, Chicago, Road America, Daytona, and Watkins Glen, where she'd finished nineteenth at Darlington, eleventh at Charlotte, ninth at Chicago, eighteenth at Road America, twenty-ninth at Daytona and eleventh at Watkins Glen.
Personal Life
Destiny is the daughter of Rose and Thomas Audette, Rose a crew chief in the Nationwide Series and Thomas a former NASCAR Sprint Cup driver.
On March 25, 2007 at the Food City 500 Sprint Cup race at Bristol Motor Speedway, Destiny ended up meeting driver Regan Smith, which they had hung out a little bit before the race and after the race, which they had developed a friendship. On April 2, 2007, Regan and Destiny had started a relationship.
On May 5, 2011, Regan and Destiny had gotten engaged.
On November 26, 2011, Regan and Destiny had gotten married.
On January 11, 2012, Destiny announced on her Twitter that she is four months pregnant with her and Regan's first child and was expected to be due in July 2012. On June 20, 2012, Destiny had given brith to a daughter named Rachel Hope Smith.
